Jim and
Charlie had been asked to appear at The Proms, a series
of concerts across mainland Europe. The Proms mixed orchestral and rock/pop, with a mixture of classical and
contemporary music, backed by a full orchestra. Jim and
Charlie were on the bill as Simple Minds and played
orchestral versions of Alive And Kicking,
Belfast Child and
Don't You (Forget About Me).
