the best of night of the proms special remastered edition : information

- At the end of the Cry tour, Simple Minds were asked to
appear again at the European Night Of The Proms 2002 as last minute replacements for Roxette who had to
pull out due to ill health.
- It was decided that a special compilation album should be available at at the concerts
(in the same way as The Promised was the compilation album for their
1997 Proms appearance).
- This edition was essentially an updated version of the previous year's The Best Of, with the addition of
Cry and
Spaceface.
- All the artwork was changed. The front cover followed on from 2fluid_creative's artwork for
Cry whilst the booklet included a (incomplete and inaccurate) discography of the band's albums and singles.
- This release was only available at the Proms concerts.
