Stripped down and lean, the next phase of the Lostboy! AKA live experience featured a new, minimal line-up. The five-piece band
was gone, replaced by Simon Hayward on keyboards, who'd produced new, fresh, stripped down arrangements of
Lostboy! and obscure Simple Minds material. Also making her Lostboy! debut was
Sarah Brown who brought a new dimension to the vocals.
It was initially seen as a temporary line-up for the promotional Electroset Radio Tour but it
proved so successful, nimble and flexible that Jim kept the line-up for the
full tour later in the year.
