Singer / musician Simon Hayward has written music for TV and performs original material
with his band Automated Groove Machine. He's also the keyboard player for Sample Minds,
has released two albums of reworked Simple Minds material, and contributed to the
Simple Minds tribute album Swimming Towards The Sun.
He played and produced What Goes On for
Lostboy’s debut album, put together several remixes, and worked on new
material for The Return of the Lostboy!
He accompanied Jim on the Electro Set Tour
and became a key component of the Simple Minds ElectroSet line-up.
He also worked on the new 'band' version of Swimming Towards The Sun which
appeared on the Big Music album.
