The lone single supporting the #1 album Live In The City Of Light,
Virgin issued Promised You A Miracle Live on four formats,
helping it reach a healthy #19 in the UK chart.
The 7" and limited edition 10" featured two tracks culled from the Live In The City Of Light,
but the cassette single and 12" were far more interesting as they included two exclusive live recordings from the
band's January 1985 Barrowlands gig.
As no CD single was issued at the time, this Theme marked the CD debut of the live performances of
Glittering Prize and
Celebrate.
