Luckily all the drama of the previous night was forgotten as Simple Minds performed at Ostria, a gig also
recorded by the plucky bootleggers in the crowd and also eventually committed to vinyl. Unlike In Italia,
which badly documented the previous night, Art Appeal was a much clearer, cleaner and even recording.
Again, space on the vinyl was limited, but the compliers of Art Appeal were more intelligent, picking tracks from the
entire concert ensuring it reached its ensuing climax and encore. This contrasted with In Italia where the
bootleggers were simply content to commit the middle section of the concert to vinyl.
Not a perfect recording but one to purchase if it ever turns up.
