the man who sold the world by white spaces: information
|
- White Spaces is psuedonym for Phunk Investigation. For hard core clubbing remixes, they use
the name Phunk Investigation; for radio friendly 'classic' remixes they use the name White Spaces.
- The Man Who Sold The World first turned up on the covers album
Neon Lights. A few years later, the White Spaces Main Mix appeared on the Italian
only Live And Rare album.
- By the end of 2006, Absolutely Records listed a three track 12" in their discography which featured three mixes
of the title track. The White Spaces Main Mix was joined by two harder contemporary reworkings. However, searches of on-line
discographies and retailers were unsuccessful; either the record was released in such small numbers that it went unnoticed or it was
never issued.
- The three tracks were also featured on a very limited Absolutely special pressing which surfaced in 2006.
- All the remixes can be heard on Absolutely's website albeit in poor quality.
