- White Spaces is psuedonym for Phunk Investigation. For hard core clubbing remixes, they use
the name Phunk Investigation; for radio friendly 'classic' remixes they use the name White Spaces.
- These remixes of Alive And Kicking were the first Simple Minds release of 2004.
- The reworkings were much more contemporary than those of Don't You (Forget About Me). The
White Spaces Electro Decade Mix is a straight updating of Alive And Kicking, whilst the
Niki B & Christian E.F.F.E. Mix retains some of the melody. All the other mixes are very removed from the original,
especially the Frank O'Moiraghi Mix which overlays Jim's lyrics on
Tori Amos' Professional Widow.

Valerio D'Andrassi and Luca S"K"ivo; the Javith Simple Mix was by Eduardo Javith;
Phunk Investigation and White Spaces remixed the Mastica Dub and Electro Decade Mix respectively; whilst
Giuliano Palmieri, Niki B and Christian E.F.F.E supplied the
Niki B & Christian E.F.F.E. Mix.
