The group met at Rockfield Studios in Wales to record Graffiti Soul.
Mel Gaynor and
Eddie Duffy stayed for two weeks before departing; their backing tracks
being further worked on by Jim and
Charlie.
But as everyone was having such fun, and the recording sessions were completed so quickly, the remaining time
was spent jamming, rerecording old Simple Minds classics and trying out a few cover versions.
