mick keyboard idea #1

composer

background
There are two recordings of a lone, keyboard idea by Mick on Street Fighting Years Reel Two.

This is a tape of "Monitor Mixes" which the individual band members would've played along to, when recording their final takes for the album itself. So it's odd to find an improvisional piece included on the tape.

The first recording is a "hidden" piece of music tucked away, and not indexed, after one of the takes of Street Fighting Years. (It can be found after the Monitor #1 No Bass mix.) It sounds like Mick preparing and warming up before playing the final, sparce melody. Unfortunately the recording is so loud that it's heavily distored in places.

The second recording, now indexed, is more substantial and plays around with the main melody more. It sounds like an improvisation around Let It All Come Down: but the melody is more expansive and experimental than the finally recorded song. It's a better recording but meaningless but itself.
