additional information
Very litle is known about the demos recorded for Empires And Dance. In fact, it wasn't
known they existed until the track listings for Silver Box were published.
I Travel features a pounding kettle-drum at the start and before the choruses;
Twist/Run/Repulsion includes an eerie winding melody and completely different lyrics; and
New Warm Skin has yet to aquire its melody. Constintinople Line
is a rougher recording and sounds like it was from a different session and/or source.
All these demos also appear in Mick MacNeil's archive (except Constintinople Line)
although they're called "Radio Sessions". See the session section for more
information about this.
