This Is It [Edit] (1:12)
comments
After shooting the Stars Will Lead The Way on the sunset-drenched rooftop of a London docklands property,
the band relocated into its dark, damp, cavernous interior to belt out This Is It.
The song had shown some single potential, so Universal shot two videos back-to-back just in case; however, no
single was ever forthcoming.
Despite the lack of glare from shooting directly into the sun, This Is It was much the same as its predecessor. There
was lots of silhouette, overpowering amounts of lens flare, relentless panning and zooming, and the wide angle lens reduced the height
of the picture to such minuscule dimensions that this video could only be viewed on the most ostentatious widescreen plasma TV known to man.
Only the last minute of the track was ever released. (See Stars Will Lead The Way for the explanation).
No sunglasses this time, as wearing sunglasses indoors is plain daft.
