New Video - Simple Minds Needs Your Help!
"Can't thank everyone enough for their response so far to Big Music,
just great! We're hoping to try something a little bit special for the next release from the album, in fact we
wanted the video to be about you…..so I'm going to ask for a little help..."
"These days we all seem to have a video camera to hand, what with smartphones and other gadgets,
so I was hoping you might record a few shots of your own 'morning routine' and send them to us. The director
will then choose the best shots and use them in our next video."
"Details of what to do can be found here."
"Really hope some of you can find time to help and, as you always do, contribute to this next great
Simple Minds chapter!" - Jim, 27th October 2014
The video was then announced as a Facebook exclusive for 7:57AM on the 12th December 2014:

Jim,
Charlie and
Sarah were shot in a plain room doing their stuff,
initially lit by a stark horizontal red light before being washed in a plain daylight – let the day begin
in the studio. This was interspersed or combined with a 3x3 grid on which video contributions
from fans were shown – their days begin.
There was a palpable feeling of nervous anticipation at Simple Minds' management as to what they
would get when they put the call out. And there was a sense of relief when Simple Minds fans
rose to the challenge and actually did record how their days began... and no-one sent in footage of themselves
sitting on the toilet.
The video also confirmed that most Simple Minds fans are "dog" people rather than "cat"... the number of
views of the Internet's favourite animal was very low for this video. Perhaps all those clips were being saved for
Caturday? Who’d have thought it?
Eagle eyed fans should look out for the video of Jim with his dog on the beach.

Single track DVD promos were also distributed by Embassy Of Sound for the German market. These were
just simple DVDs with custom labels in plastic sleeves:
Many thanks to Lionello for the scan.
Much more interesting was the Japanese promo DVD which was produced by Hostess Entertainment. This also included information and artwork
about the album on the DVD label.
Many thanks to Lionello for the scan.
