Ged Grimes had already played bass for Jim’s first
Lostboy! AKA tour and had also stood in for the Sphere Studios sessions where material
was recorded for Celebrate: The Greatest Hits + and
Big Music. But after the dramatic resignation of
Eddie Duffy,
Ged received the call to rehearse alone at a Scottish studio in preparation for the band’s final
summer gig – in front of 80,000 punters at La Fete de Huma in Paris, France.
