NRG, like many of the early Cry demos, was a simple acoustic
number with guitar, bass and Jim improvising a vocal guide.
It was re-recorded an electronic version with the acoustic guitar melody now replaced by a bouncy argeggio synthesizer
line.
In both guises, this demo is instantly recognisable as a slower-tempo version of Disconnected,
which was recorded for the final album.
