MINDS STAND BY
Simple Minds, who are currently making their way around Europe and the UK with
their Real Life Tour, announce the release of a new single on Monday August 12th which coinicdes
with the commencement of the UK leg of that tour.
Entitled Stand By Love, the single is a track from their platinum-selling album Real Life.
The single, inclusive of all formats, will be pressed to a world-wide limited edition of 50,000 units. Each format will be individually numbered.
Available in a special gatefold sleeve 12" with a stitched in coloured booklet - and in fold-out pack picture CD, the B side on these two formats has
the exciting bonus of a couple of live tacks recorded on this current tour a their Los Angeles Universal Amphitheatre show in June.
The first track being King Is White And In The Crowd which originally appeared on the classic
New Gold Dream album of 1982. This is the first time that they've incldued this track in their live set
for some years. The second track is the one which gave them their first Top 10 hit in March of this year - Let There Be Love.
The 7" version, which comes a special limited edition envelope pack with an exclusive poster, has as its B side King Is White And In The Crowd.
