SIMPLE MINDS will appear live on B.B.C. T.V.'s "Old Grey Whistle Test" on Tuesday 27th March, previewing songs from their debut album "LIFE IN A DAY" (ZULP 1) - produced by John Leckie - which is released on Zoom Records (marketed and distributed by Arista Records) on April 20th. The title track "LIFE IN A DAY b/w "SPECIAL VIEW" (not on the L.P.) (ZUM 10) will be released as a single on 30th March in a special colour bag.

SIMPLE MINDS will be special guests on the forthcoming MAGAZINE U.K. tour opening at MALVERN Winter Gardens on April 16th. This covers the country's leading venues and includes a LONDON concert at The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane on 2nd May. These dates will be preceded by solo dates from 28th March - 13th April, in which SIMPLE MINDS will play for the first time outside their home base Scotland.
