After a long break from releasing new music, Simple Minds are back with their brand new single
Act of Love, out on January 17th 2022.
Falling on the anniversary of their first ever Simple Minds gig in 1978,
this release will be a new version of
an old track that was never officially recorded or released. However,
fans will be familiar with the song, as it was the first track that the band used to play every night on tour
back then. Since recording Act of Love in November 2021, the
band have fallen in love with this new version of the song (mixed by Alan Moulder), and are incredibly excited
to get it out for the fans ahead of their upcoming
40 Years Of Hits UK & Europe tour in 2022.
