Guitarist Paul Statham founded the new-wave inspired B-Movie whilst still at
school. The band were mostly active during the first half of the 1980s, releasing four albums before their demise.
Statham then went on to work with Peter Murphy (formerly of Bauhaus) and
formed a short lived project called Peach with Pascal Gabriel.
He then started collaborating and writing for other artists including Dido, Kylie,
Dot Allison and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
He’s written several songs with Jim with Return Of The King
appearing on the first Lostboy! AKA album.
Jim has also collaborated on Statham's Dark Flowers project,
providing vocals for several tracks.
He co-wrote Kill Or Cure, a track originally destined for the
second Lostboy album, which was finally
recorded for Simple Minds' Big Music.
