A keyboard player with Cowboys International, Ken Lockie was recording his first Virgin album (The Impossible)
when Simple Minds signed to the label. After being played backing tracks of his work,
the band were impressed with the sound, and hired its producer Steve Hillage to work on their
next album (which would turn out to be Sons And Fascination.)
Ken would end up singing backing vocals on Sons And Fascination,
whilst Jim returned the favour by singing on The Impossible.
After that album Ken had a short lived stint with PIL,
before working on the 12" of Sleeps Tonight for Stuart Argabright's Dominatrix.
He then quit the music business completely for a career in computers, but recently returned with a new label Pnuma Records
and a reformed Cowboy International.
