sparkle in the rain advert

Mainstream retailers (such as Boots) had sections in their shops selling albums and singles during the 1980s. They would often advertise in music publications, a joint advert for both the record and the shop.

Only the album and cassette was advertised, despite Sparkle In The Rain being available on CD. This format was still too "new" and "futuristic" to be considered on an advert.
