graffiti soul tour 2009 special gold edition
Near the end of the Graffiti Soul tour,
Concert Online announced they’d be packaging all the UK shows on one USB stick along with bonus material.

The Special Gold Edition comprised an 8GB gold USB stick housed in a special
box which was decorated with gold lettering and a Claddagh. The gold stick simply featured "Simple Minds Live 2009"
engraved along the side. This edition was limited to 222 copies.
When plugged into a computer, the software on the stick displayed the list of gigs, bonus material and bonus video material.
The Special Gold Edition could be ordered from www.simpleminds.concert-online.com.

Nothing on the Special Gold Edition was exclusive; all the material had been released on previous sticks. However, the
Special Gold Edition brought it all together in one handy package.
The menu system allowed access to the concerts and bonus material, but the link to the video didn't work (and navigating through
the stick's filing system revealed two bonus videos) and there was no access to the pictures. Therefore, it was necessary to open
an explorer window to find everything on the stick.
The bonus audio material was the previously released soundchecks: Kiss And Fly,
Rockin' In The Free World and Light Travels.
The bonus video material was Backstage: Live In Basel and the Downloads Teaser. Backstage: Live In Basel,
produced by Concert Online, featured interviews with Jim (talking about
preparing the tour, lucky charms, influences, live albums, performing, the best thing about touring and his plans after the tour),
Charlie (discussing guitars),
Mel (backstage rituals, influences and plans after the tour) and
Eddie (backstage rituals - coiffuring and chocolate theft mainly - plus plans after the tour),
all intercut with backstage footage.
The Downloads Teaser was not accessible via the menu system. It was the original teaser put together by the official site
for the downloads of 2006.
The bonus pictures included shots from Munich, Venice (some of which appeared in the tour programme)
and Brussels.
