This was the first Instore Play CD produced by Virgin for Simple Minds. It is believed that these were shipped with commerical CDs to record stores where the Instore Play CD could be played in the shop.

The card sleeve included custom, promo graphics. The CD itself was also a special pressing, despite using the same label artwork as the final commercial edition. The CD was pressed at Swindon and white graphics (such as the 81/92 graphic) were left unfinished so the silver showed through.
