- Honest Town was issued as the the first single from
Big Music. (Strictly Blindfolded
was released first but it was only a "teaser.")
- Two versions of a four-track promo were sent out in September. These included various edits, the
Iain Cook remix and an instrumental versions of the song.
- The song was first debuted on The Ken Bruce Show on BBC Radio Two on the
24th September 2014. It was added to the BBC Radio 2 A-List on the 9th October.
- And the video was first made available through The Guardians'
website on the 29th September 2014.
- The single was released digitally on the 3rd November 2014. No commerical physical version was produced.
