- Blindfolded was the first song released
from Big Music. It wasn't considered a fully fledged
single but a teaser trailer for the album.
- Both Blindfolded and
Imagination had appeared in the live roster during
the summer tour.
- As a teaser trailer, it needed a video, and the abstract landscape video was first
released on the 4th September 2014, barely a week before the
band's summer tour had finished. It was the first
confirmation that Big Music would actually be
released in the last months of 2014.
- The title track was also made available as a singular MP3 download.
- A two-track promo CD was also produced. Whilst it featured the album cut of
Blindfolded and a glimpse
of the next single (as an edit of Honest Town was
included), it was housed in a sleeve titled "Big Music", thus associating it firmly with
the forthcoming album.
- The song was remixed Johnson Somerset who'd previously remixed War Babies
and Space. Unfortunately his remix didn't turn up on any of the
promotional pressings, exclusively appearing on Johnson's YouTube channel
in June 2015.
- Somerset's remix later appeared on the official site on the 14th April 2015 where it was
set to a remixed version of the video.
