CD-R 80 CWLHT-2050 W127
format
CDR with black printed label with code housed in a fold-over glossy sleeve stamped with code.
release date
October 2016
additional information
The first promo from the album was also the second rarest. Part of the first batch to be sent to journalists and radio stations,
the CDRs were watermarked and the sleeve was stamped on the rear with an identification code. Interestingly, the actual CDR was also
stamped with the same code.
In this case, the CD and sleeve were stamped 'SCREAM PR 1'. This refers to Scream Promotions, run by Scott Steele, who
looks after the band's publicity. This CDR came from the band's archive.
In one case, a CD from the more common digipak was found in the sleeve. The stamped numbers match up, so it looks
like it's a legitimate variant. Thanks to Erwin for the info.

CD housed in a fold-over colour picture sleeve.
release date
October 2016
additional information
The second promo featured the standard album and the bonus tracks collected together on one CD. The packaging had moved on from the
first promo as an early version of the label artwork was now used. The picture CD was still housed in a simple colour-printed
fold-over picture sleeve which included the album artwork and track listing.
The CDR wasn't watermarked and the artwork didn't feature any identifiying numbers or codes.
Extremely rare and desirable as the extra tracks weren't released on CD (they were only available on the LP).
Many thanks to Lionello for the scan.

Extremely rare and desirable as the extra tracks weren't released on CD (they were only available on the LP).

catalogue
Caroline International SMAC03
tba
format
CDR housed in a gatefold digipak with press release printed over the gatefold.
release date
October 2016
additional information
The final, and most common, promo released for the album was a variation of the final album's packaging. Instead of the photographs
included in the gatefold, the promo included a
unique press release.
All copies were watermarked and stamped on both the CD and sleeve with a special code. Different codes were used for different
markets: "PRESS" were used for journalists, papers and music publication; "National Radio" was used for radio stations; and "International"
was used for overseas markets.
Many thanks to Otto for the scan.
Every CD wallet had a unique code. When printing was complete, all the wallets were delivered to
Abbey Road Studios where promo CDs with matching codes were inserted into each wallet. The
quantities were as follows:
International | 1 - 530 |
National Radio | 1 - 50 |
Press | 1 - 60 |
Regional Press | 1 - 120 |
Sales | 1 - 10 |
Spare | 1 - 10 |
TV | 1 - 60 |
Many thanks to Sadiq for the information
