A short video presentation was prepared for Shadowland which clocked in at just over
two minutes. Originally centrally justified on the contents page of the official site, the video featured slow pans over the
first album’s artwork mixed with archival black-and-white footage of early
Simple Minds and black-and-white stills of
Johnny And The Self Abusers and
Simple Minds from the same period.
And sporadic clouds of cigarette smoke blown over this graphical mash-up gave an element of extra moodiness.
