- This remix of New Gold Dream (81,82,83,84) was mentioned in late 2001, but it took over a year for it to get released.
- Jim re-recorded the vocals, adding the now familiar "Zero one, zero two, zero three, zero four" count instead
of "Eighty one, eighty two, eighty three, eighty four."
- DJ T is an Italian DJ, who was also involved with DB Boulevard (who had a hit with Point Of View).
- The credits read: Written by Simple Minds, produced by DJ T.
- It was released as two 12" promos by Y2K House, a sub-label of Pure Groove, who are based in London. The first 12" featured
the original DJ T mix along with a haunting new version by Phunk Investigation. The second 12", which appeared a
week later, included two harder remixes commissioned by Y2K House themselves.
- Both the Grinder and Voltswagen mixes sampled the female groans and vocals
from USURA's Open Your Mind. The Voltswagen mix also featured some samples from the original
recording of New Gold Dream (81,82,83,84).
- Y2K House mentioned that some majors were interested in releasing it commercially, but nothing has happened yet.
- A version of the first 12" single appeared on the Italian Rise label.
